Where the heart and mind is one!

With a flicker of hope, he left his room. He left because she was running through her mind, like all the bloody neurons were firing her name. It was not that humid that day. He waited for a while outside, under the mundane sky, trying to figure out how to even start the conversation. There she was, how diligently she walked. No rush, absolute serenity as her feet brushed the pebbles on the ground. She was looking down and then she held her head up. This boy, or should he call himself man, he doesn’t understand. Man sounds too heavy and boy sounds too young, but whatever he was trying to be, he was determined to be all in. She came, he smiled, she smiled. Smiles eased out as they started walking. It was a long walk. Going in circles, exploring the destinations, the talking was continuous. Overwhelming discussions they were having. “My pleasure”, thought the boy to himself. He could only presume that she was into the conversation. She seemed lost from time to time but more often than not she was listening. She listened as he went on telling her how happy he could be if she was around him. Every moment of happiness in his soul, awakened him of the reality that is it really gonna happen? Is he really going to lay down his cards on the table, show her the inside, the soul, that’s wounded. Thoughts stopped, she too opened up about her wounds, some of them were deeper than he could ever imagine, he felt he could touch her hands, tell her, he is there and that things will be fine, that he has the capability to bring it all back. It was like giving her life back. Betrayals often break a person beyond breaking point. She was broken inside, he could see the pieces, but she didn’t let him pick them up. He can pick them up, he won’t try to rejoin them, he will replace them completely. For her. Well, both of them were broken, he was trying to find a broken person so that they could replace together, the question is, will she? Can she? He knows she can, but does she want to? It is all about acceptance in life. Acceptance, grief are all parts of life, he often feels are like nuts which tighten the soul of the person. He could only think of her, sitting in his room, with the fan swirling in full swing, he would look up on it and think of her. It is like trying not to see, what could be seen. Feeling it get undone, can he handle that? He doesn’t think so, so what does he do? He sits and he thinks, he sits and he prays, he sits and he thinks her to be there. She is there, she is always there. The mind and the heart were one after a long time, he knew they weren’t lying.
